Had a great day painting yesterday - everything felt like it fell into place effortlessly, a real 'flow'. So I managed to come on quite far with 'Clothesline'. The waistcoat one is almost finished (save for the clothes pegs) and the dress turned out to be a lot easier that I'd feared. I was worried about the stripes but realised I could paint the underlying light and shade first, then the stripes over, and it worked out really well.
