I thought the spiderman t-shirt was going to be really difficult - lots of detail, a well-recognised figure, folds, shadows etc. But after staring at the reference pictures for a while, I realised it could be broken down into fairly easy stages. I painted all the red areas first, then lightened up some of these areas with straight off Cadmium red. Next I'll paint all the blue areas, then the lighter blue areas, then some white, and hopefully the whole t-shirt will be finished.
