
At last I've come to rest with Fascinator. I painted some of the white edges back to black which brought the whole painting back to life and killed the flattening. I took the scary step of varnishing the whole painting matt which evened out the glossy / matt differences (not quite 100%, but good enough)

A super result. I hope we may hear 'the story' too, hehehe. Me and myself always hate that question, but ... did you had a patient model? Do you remember where the idea popped up?
Or is that part of the painters secret?
